At Legibilize, protecting user privacy is fundamental to our engineering standards. We do not monetize user data, track persistent browsing habits, or build behavioral profiles from the web content processed through our platform.
1. Information Collection and Telemetry
We restrict data collection exclusively to essential telemetry required to operate and secure the platform:
- Account Email: Retained solely to issue authentication Magic Links, manage account status, and transmit essential transactional notices.
- Payment Information: Financial transactions are processed directly by Stripe. Legibilize does not collect, process, or store credit card credentials on local infrastructure.
- Affiliate Tracking Data: A standard 30-day session cookie is initialized if you visit via an authorized partner referral link to ensure accurate conversion attribution.
2. Temporary Data Processing
When a web address or text payload is submitted for reformatting, our system processes the payload in volatile memory during runtime execution. Content string outputs are delivered directly to your client browser, and active memory buffers are cleared immediately upon request completion. No text content is stored permanently in our databases.
3. Data Deletion Rights
Under applicable data privacy regulations, you retain the right to request full erasure of your user records and transactional history. To submit a data deletion request, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@legibilize.com.
